The Best Sleep I’ve Ever Had

For 30 days, I have been taking Ayurvedic Shilajit and Ashwagandha. It’s been extremely effective but, with a few caveats. Let’s find out what it really feels like to take this supplement for 30 days.





Ayurvedic Shilajit and Ashwagandha. I won’t go too much into what it is as I have already explained it in my previous post (linked here), so I’ll just get into the results.


I started off taking this as per the instructions, 2 tablets a day, taken first thing in the morning, mostly on an empty stomach. I did this for one week and it was at this point that I did notice a few things. Firstly, my libido started to improve. I was starting to notice an increase in my sexual urges and this was also very evident every morning upon waking (pitch a tent anyone?). This makes sense since the two ingredients of the supplement are meant to promote testosterone production in men. Secondly, a feeling of sluggishness started to creep in throughout the day. I noticed that I was taking power naps in the afternoon, something I never needed to do before. A friend of mine that had taken Ashwagandha before told me how in India, people tend to take Ashwagandha to improve their sleep quality. I thought about this for a minute and decided that I would change when I took the tablets. I switched from taking the tablets in the morning to just before bed every night. It was then that I truly realised the benefits of this supplement.


My sleep improved dramatically. I can’t remember a time before this when I woke up thinking, I’m ready to go, lets get this day started. It was also at this point that I realised the true value of not only getting enough sleep, but getting good quality sleep. You see, sleep allows your body to rest and also perform some essential maintenance on your memory, immune system and your hormones and this is one of the reasons why I think my natural testosterone levels increased while on this supplement.


To test my memory and concentration improvements while on this supplement, I played a game called “Track the balls”. Below is a recording of my first attempt, at the start of the 30 day trial where I played the game 3 times in a row and after is my final attempt after 30 days where I played the game the same amount of times to get an average score.. Play along with me and see if you can beat my scores. At the end of the 30 days, my score in this game increased from and average score of 6000 to 9150. That’s an improvement of 52.5% which was truly impressive. In my daily life, I did feel calmer, more focussed and I definitely could hold my concentration for longer periods of time.

In conclusion, I would give this supplement an 8 out of 10 for what it does. I took two points away because it suggested that I take the tablets in the morning however, I got the best results when I took it at night. This may be just me, but these are my experiences with it. It did boost my libido which means that it did boost my natural testosterone production, it did improve my memory, it did increase my attention span and most of all, it improved my sleep quality which in itself brings a whole host of added benefits with it. So for anyone out there who feels like they are not getting the rest they need out of sleep or are truly feeling low in natural testosterone production, I would definitely recommend this product.
